There have been a few questions about the reason that we are only open for selective weekends.  This is due to the fact that there is practice insurance available but at a very high price again this year.  The park takes out daily practice coverage for the dates that we are open.  This is a VERY expensive cost that is the reason we have only selected dates.  If there is a rain date, we will get to re-schedule that date.  I hope this explains it better for the people that have questions.  If there is a need for more explaination, let us know.  The insurance problem is not only for the Fond du Lac OHV Park.  It is involving everyone in the country.  (Out east, there are parks shut down, out west there are parks shut down.)  If a park is not taking out daily coverage for practice, they are probably running without insurance.  We cannot do this because the City of Fond du Lac is the land owner.  There is no where around to find resonably priced practice coverage.  If anyone has a lead on any insurance information, please get it to Holly Hamburgur ASAP!  Thank you.

Thank you to everyone that has made the park what it is today!!

NO INCREASE IN FEES FOR 2008!!!!  There is only a daily riding fee this year.  ATV daily fee is $15.00 and the MOTORCYCLE daily fee is $20.00.  This change is due to the fact that the DNR ATV sticker fee is what helped build the Fond du Lac ATV Park into what it is today.  The motorcycles need to donate an extra $5.00 per day to help with the DNR funds to support the park.  The DAILY riding fee is a single day use charge per day, per rider.  There is no yearly rate due to the lack of insurance offered to riding parks for this season.  We are open for the limited dates and possibly a few more depending on the funding.

There is no need to mail in any form for rider fees or memberships.

The Fond du Lac Community OHV Park has a MOTOCROSS style riding area for dirt bikes and ATV's, a PEE WEE area for beginner riders, asphalt parking lot and driveway, portable toilet facilities, fencing, etc.  We are working on electricity, clubhouse, and vending in the future.  We are always open for suggestions.  Let us know your thoughts.  It will be great having you become a part of the Fond du Lac Community OHV Park.  We know you will enjoy the park.  It is a great family activity!

We will update the answering machine with any DAILY UPDATES OR WEATHER RELATED UPDATES.  The gate will be locked/closed during maintenance.  We will try to have maintenance dates posted in advance.

We hold two meetings a year, one in spring and one in the fall.  Please review ALL the rules.  Be safe.  Ride at your own risk!  Have respect for yourself and other riders!

Thanks for your help and support over the past years.  Please remember that we are volunteers!  Any questions or comments, please contact Dennis or Holly Hamburgur at serenity@dotnet.com or  920-269-4253.  (This is our home number.)
